Monday September 9th: We had a fantastic session today finishing up our HSIE Minecraft project. We finalised our shelters by adding a stove and fridge plus cake in-case other visiting avatars dropped in for a chat! Crops of melons and wheat were planted and then we built paddocks with strong fencing and spawned a cow, sheep, chicken and pig. This was very exciting. Some of us planted wheat in the pens for the animals to graze on. Good idea as farm animals need good feed and clean water to survive
To sow our crops we firstly had to use a hoe to till the soil and then we planted our seeds. Some of us added fertilizer to help our crops grow quicker. There were also some students building the red, yellow, and green rubbish bins which was a good idea as we need to keep our environment clean and waste free. Our homes are all built. Some are very creative and colourful and others very practical and strong as they are built from brick. They all have a books to read, a bed to rest on, a fridge to keep the food fresh, a stove to cook, and rugs, chairs, chimneys, doors, windows, steps, and some of us have created beautiful gardens. Let's give ourselves a pat on the back and a *seal* of approval! :) |
